The Herb Farm - Passion, Knowledge & Nature

The Herb Farm - Passion, Knowledge & Nature

The story and special qualities of our brand and company have stayed true throughout our 31 years in business and remain as important to our customers today as they did when my mother, Lynn Kirkland, first opened the doors in 1993.

First-hand experiences of the amazing healing powers of nature inspired Lynn to study to be a Herbalist, and then found The Herb Farm to share her passion and knowledge with as many people as possible.

I grew up with natural living, and The Herb Farm business, being a way-of-life and was excited to join the business in 2006. As with all companies we have been through the ups and downs of life and business over these years and have seen the natural industry grow from being relatively niche to a thriving and growing market as more and more people turn to natural to empower themselves to heal and beautify and live low-tox lives.

I am most proud of how we have held true to the values which make our company and brand so special;

- 100% natural effective products
- Fresh herbal extracts from our own gardens
- Manufactured on-site at our beautiful destination in the Manawatu
- Customer-centric – we deeply appreciate our customers and everything we do is with their wellbeing in mind
- Sustainable and focused on leaving a positive impact on the world

Knowing that we have picked fresh herbs from our organically grown gardens and then used the extracts from these in our products, lovingly handcrafted on-site by us, is very special – and not many brands have this level of intimacy with their products and oversight of the whole process.

In a world of social-media and unattainable beauty standards, we are advocates of supporting people to return to nature and experience what it offers to achieve wellbeing and glowing healthy skin, through our products.

“Beauty is happiness, it’s been kind and caring and living a life that you love and that will radiate from you”.
