SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Minimum term

By signing up to The Herb Farm Subscription Service, you agree to a minimum commitment of three (3) subscription orders before you can cancel or amend your Subscription.

Orders cannot be cancelled or amended during this initial minimum period. You can sign up to our subscription service by selecting the “Subscribe” option on eligible products when shopping online.

By choosing this service, you’ll automatically receive up to 20% off all recurring subscription orders of our natural Herb Farm goodies. You can choose how frequently you’d like to receive your products - every 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks.

Please note that VIP Rewards cannot be used in conjunction with subscription orders.

Subscription flexibility (after minimum term)

Once the minimum term (3 subscription orders) has been reached, you’ll have full control over your subscription, including the ability to:

  • Manage your subscription frequency and next order date
  • Update payment details or shipping address
  • Add, swap or remove subscription items
  • Skip an upcoming order
  • Cancel your subscription

All changes can be made by logging into your Herb Farm account. Please ensure any updates, skips, or cancellations are made at least 24 business hours prior to your next shipment date. 

If changes are made after this time, your order may still be processed and shipped.

Pricing and discounts

  • All subscription products are subject to The Herb Farm’s current Recommended Retail Prices (RRP).
  • We may review and update product pricing periodically to reflect changes in ingredient costs, shipping costs, supplier pricing, or other operational factors.
  • When price updates occur, the subscription discount percentage you receive (e.g., 20%) will remain the same and will continue to be applied to the current RRP of that product at the time your order renews.
  • Any price changes will be clearly communicated in advance via email and/or through your account dashboard.
  • The total amount charged for your subscription will always be visible before each order renews.

Shipping and delivery

New Zealand:

  • Free shipping for subscription orders over $35.00
  • $10.00 shipping fee for orders under $35.00

Australia:

  • Free shipping for subscription orders over $99.00
  • $25.00 shipping fee for orders under $99.00

International:

  • Free shipping for subscription orders over $250

Please note: Shipping fees and free shipping thresholds are subject to change to reflect adjustments in courier or carrier pricing. Any changes will be communicated prior to your next billing cycle.

Payments and failed transactions

  • Payment for each subscription order will be automatically processed using your saved payment method on the scheduled billing date.
  • If a payment fails, our system will automatically attempt to reprocess it. If unsuccessful, your order may be delayed or cancelled until payment is
    completed.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment details are up to date to avoid disruption.

Cancellations (after minimum term)

You may cancel your subscription at any time after the minimum term has been completed by logging into your Herb Farm account.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 business hours prior to your next scheduled shipment date.

If you cancel after this period and your order has already been processed, the order will be shipped as usual.

You may return the unopened product(s) at your own cost, provided they remain
in unopened, resaleable condition.

General terms

  • Subscription availability may vary depending on product stock.
  • The Herb Farm reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Subscription Service (or any part of it) by providing reasonable notice to subscribers.
  • By subscribing, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which may be updated periodically. The most current version will always be available on our website.

AFTERPAY

If you’ve paid for your order using Afterpay, refunds will be processed with the following conditions - refunds for Afterpay purchases will be issued minus a 7% deduction

  • This includes Afterpay’s non-refundable transaction fee (7%)
  • Example: On a $100 order, your refund would be $93 after the deduction
  • This policy applies to change-of-mind returns only
  • If your product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)

All other aspects of our Returns & Refunds Policy remain the same (including product eligibility and return timeframes).

EU | Consumer Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may have the right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen (14) days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection laws.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision before the expiry of the withdrawal period by contacting us on orders@herbfarm.co.nz.

Upon receipt of your withdrawal request, we will provide confirmation of receipt by email.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you validly withdraw from a purchase, we will reimburse all payments received from you, in accordance with applicable law, once we have received the returned products.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.

You must return the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen (14) days after notifying us of your withdrawal. You are responsible for any costs associated with returning the goods unless otherwise required by law.

Reduction in Refund Due to Handling

You are liable for any diminished value of goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Where returned products have been opened, used, damaged, or otherwise altered beyond what would be permitted in a retail environment, we reserve the right to reduce the amount of any refund to reflect the diminished value of the goods, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply where an exemption under applicable law applies, including but not limited to:

  • Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
  • Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (i.e. purchasing products as part of short dated sales)
  • Other products exempted from withdrawal rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
